Introduction
Fun Radio Belgium is a radio station, established by the NRJ group in 1989. The NRJ group had launched Fun Radio in France in 1985. It started broadcasting on the frequency 104.7 FM in Brussels and later expanded to other French-speaking regions of Belgium.
In the early 2000s, Fun Radio Belgium experienced significant growth, attributing it to its entertainment shows and music from the dancefloor genre.
In 2004, the Lagardère group acquired Fun Radio station.
In French-speaking Belgium, FUN RADIO is the second most listened-to music radio station with an audience of approximately 2.2 million daily listeners.
